Looking for ways to volunteer? Please join fellow alumni at the 27th annual Charles River Earth Day Clean-up. We will be partnering with the Charles River Watershed and Esplande Association in the cleanup of the parks, forests, and paths along the Charles River. Neighborhood and location site will in the Metrowest/Boston area. As we get closer to the date, we will be assigned our location.
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, we encourage volunteers to bring their own pair of gloves. Trash bags, picker-uppers, and other cleanup materials will be supplied to those who wish to participate.
The Earth Day Charles River Cleanup builds on a national effort as part of American Rivers’ National River Cleanup®, which has removed over 25 million pounds of trash from America’s waterways. Our cleanup brings together over 3,000 volunteers each year to pick up litter, remove invasive species and assist with park maintenance along all 80 miles of the Charles River.
