You’re invited to attend three free tower bell concerts in West Newton this summer. Players will include four Cornell alumni chimes masters. The concerts will take place at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (FUUSN) at 1326 Washington Street, West Newton MA 02465.

These concerts will take place at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton (FUUSN) at 1326 Washington Street, West Newton MA 02465.

The alumni chimesmasters who will be playing are:

• Bob Feldman '66 '75 (July 12 & August 2)

• Cathy Longley-Cook '03 '05 (all three concerts)

• Scott Silverstein ’08 (August 30)

• Jennie Xia ’13 (August 2)

You can bring blankets and chairs and sit out on the lawn in front of the church or in the park across the street. If it is raining, FUUSN will provide indoor listening space. We will play a variety of music, including classical, show, and popular. After each concert, you can meet the players in the tower, see how the bells are played, and try ringing some bells yourself.
