For the arts passionate as well as the “just art curious” this a Friday night event not to miss. Join the Cornell Club of Boston for a conversation and tour with sculptor Andy Moerlein, MFA '82 at one of Boston’s most notable galleries, Boston Sculptors Gallery. Enjoy his recent work, A Storyteller’s Doubt and have an opportunity to hear a short talk about the art on view. The large gallery setting will provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to network in the heart of Boston’s Art District. Light cheese and refreshments will be provided.

A Storyteller’s Doubt at Boston Sculptors Gallery is a selection of Andy Moerlein’s newest work, featuring larger than life woodcarvings as well as paintings, photographic collage and immersive installation and collaborations with two artists he admires.

Andy Moerlein is an internationally exhibited sculptor. His work has been shown in museums, sculpture gardens, and galleries from Alaska to New York, Switzerland to Peru. Notably: Hood Museum, Hanover NH USA; Johnson Museum, Ithaca, NY USA; Currier Museum of Art, Concord NH USA; Korean Cultural Center NYC USA. Moerlein has an extensive resume of public art works and site-specific monumental outdoor sculptures. For this special presentation, Mr. Moerlein has invited us to a private tour. He will share stories of his life and career's trajectory after his time at Cornell, and discuss how the Boston art scene has sustained and impacted his career.
