Cornell Club of Boston Silent Auction
Silent Auction Bidding Procedures

The items listed below will be up for bidding at the Cornell Club of Boston Annual Meeting on Friday, May 16th beginning at 6:30 PM. All proceeds from the winning bids on these items go directly to the various scholarship programs the club supports. To register for the annual meeting click here. To increase interest in the auction and to raise scholarship funds, we are accepting bids placed through email on all items below until 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 15th. To bid on any of the items, please send your maximum bid along with the item number via e-mail to Tom Pasniewski at thp1@cornell.edu. If you can not make the meeting, Tom will bid on your behalf at the meeting in one bid increment steps up to your maximum bid. If we receive multiple bids on the same item prior to the meeting, we will notify you if you have been outbid and ask you if you would like to bid higher.

Why not steal an item? The 'Automatic Winning Bid' is the amount at which the item is automatically yours. Steal an item from ever getting to the meeting for bidding by bidding the 'Automatic Winning Bid' today. If the high bid from an in-person bidder is the same as the highest maximum bid from an absentee bidder, the item will go to the in-person bidder.

First Example: If the opening bid is $50 and you e-mail in a bid of $80 and the bid increment is $10, you will be the opening lead bidder at $50 and we will bid up to $80 for you.

Second Example: If the opening bid is $50 and you e-mail in a bid of $80 after someone has already e-mailed a bid of $100, the bidding on the item will be raised to $80 and you will be notified that you have been outbid.
