Local Alumni Groups
The Cornell Club of Boston was founded more than 100 years ago to represent and engage all Cornell alumni in the Greater Boston area. The Club plans events that are meant to be accessible to all alumni of all programs and backgrounds.
Several additional alumni organizations run by volunteers also operate in the Greater Boston area. These affinity groups exist to engage alumni based on particular college/school connections, identities, and other interests. Although they operate independently of the Cornell Club of Boston, we all work together to ensure local alumni have access to events and information that they care about. Detailed descriptions for these affinity groups—as well as contact information for their Boston representatives—can be found below if you would like to learn more or reach out to them individually.
Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network
CAAAN is the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, a group of over 10,000 proud Cornell alumni who serve as enthusiastic ambassadors to prospective students and families in all 50 states and at least 50 nations across the globe.
Alumni ambassadors are important to Cornell’s admissions recruitment efforts as they meet individually with freshman applicants, staff college fairs, and host local receptions for admitted and entering students. CAAAN members not only share their experiences and information about Cornell, but also help to personalize the admissions process for thousands of candidates each year.
