Cornell Hotel Society North End Walking Tour
Tour will depart from Old State House, 206 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02109
Want to know the location of the first Prince Spaghetti Factory, the first Stop & Shop and the birthplace of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy? Are you curious about the molasses disaster, Brinks Robbery and the trial of Sacco & Vanzetti? Jessica Sawyer, professional tour guide and friend and colleague of Andrea Foster ’96, will guide us on a 75-minute tour that explores the history, culture and architecture of Boston’s oldest residential neighborhood, the North End. This event is the perfect way to experience the fall weather and learn about one of the more fascinating and quaint areas of Boston.
Date/Time: Saturday, September 22 at 11:30am
Cost: $10 per adult, $5 for ages 12-17, and children under 12 free.
All proceeds to benefit the CHS New England Chapter Scholarship Fund.
Location: Meet in front of the Old State House (206 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02109), near Faneuil Hall
After the tour, you are invited to walk with us around the corner to The Living Room at 101 Atlantic Avenue for a drink, appetizer, lunch or brunch with fellow Hotelies.
