The Cornell Club of Boston offers an array of events that are design all with one simple objective in mind: catalyze our local community of alumni. Depending on what you seek, we offer several forums for you to find it:
Cornell Club of Boston Programming
Chaired by Shane Dunn ’07, the Cornell Club of Boston via its Programming Committee organizes all sporting, social, community, and Cornell faculty speaking events for the Cornell Club of Boston. Tom Pasniewski ’98 heads all sporting events.
Cornell Professional Network (CPN)
Chaired by Marie Schulmann ‘78, the Cornell Club of Boston via its Cornell Professional Network committee focuses solely on professional networking events wrapped around an exciting presentations by alumni who are movers-and-shakers in the Boston community. "Professional" spans the gambit from academia, business, and medicine to non-profits, legal, and the sciences, plus everything in between. The venues are typically related to the topic, immersing the audience in an engaging dialogue around timely and relevant topics that are shaped by the alumni speaker.
Young Alumni Happy Hours
The Northeast Regional Office coordinates the young alumni happy hours every third Tuesday of each month. Meet fellow local alumni, and walk away with a new friend or two. Check the CCOB events calendar for the next Young Alumni Happy Hour.
Alumnae Dinners
Chaired by Diane Verschure '74, the Cornell Club of Boston via its Alumnae Dinner series invites all local alumnae (female alums, to be sure!) to join others for dinner once a month in varying venues throughout Boston. The majority of attendees are different with every dinner, yet all are welcome to attend every one. Other Clubs and Cornell Events
Boston is rich with alumni activities. There are local chapters of the Cornell Hotel Society of Boston, the Johnson Club of Boston, Cornell’s Northeast Regional Office, and myriad departments and schools from Ithaca that organize events throughout the year.
