We want you, Cornell alumni, to put your school spirit to work for the Charles River at the 1st Annual Alumni Day on the Charles. All morning alumni groups will be working with the Conservancy's volunteer program to renew the Charles River Parklands. We'll plant gardens, paint benches, and remove invasive species, and after a few hours of hard work, we'll offer lunch and an afternoon of recreation, field day games, and prizes! Wear your school t-shirt, show your school pride and spend a fun Sunday improving our Charles River Parks. For additional information or to sign up, email Meli Mathis '09 at mbm47@cornell.edu or call Shane Dunn '07 at 315-525-1087. Space for project participants is limited - so don't delay.

The Charles River Conservancy is a non-profit dedicated to providing maintenance and renewal of the Charles River Parklands. The Conservancy works with over 2,500 volunteers each year; of these numbers, well over 200 come from alumni groups. This year, we're hoping to combine all of these spirited volunteers for a day of service, lunch, and sport accomplishing tons of work and showcasing school spirit in the process.
