General Info:
The Cornell
men's basketball team (27-4, 13-1 Ivy) has secured its bid to the NCAA Tournament's March Madness
with their third Ivy League title in a row, a first in school
history. Cornell has been awarded the 12th seed in the East Regional and
will play #5 seed Temple in their opening round game in Jacksonville, Florida
seeking their first ever NCAA tournament victory on the strength of the
strongest team Cornell has ever produced. Temple is coached by Fran
Dunphy, the former head coach of Penn. Cornell's head coach Steve Donahue
worked as an assistant for Dunphy while at Penn.
The Cornell Club of Boston will have
two official watch parties. Please note that while CBS will broadcast all
tournament games, only some games will be shown in their entirety on your local
CBS network. Join us and see the entire Cornell game from start to
finish. Should Cornell win their opening round game, they will advance to
the second round on Sunday, March 21st against the winner of (4) Wisconsin
vs. (13) Wofford. Information on the Second Round Television Watch Party is available.

print it out and bring it with you to the gathering - it's that simple.

to join us at a location in the city of Boston. To be sure that we offer
the location that is most convenient for the most number of people able to
attend, we ask that you please choose option a, b or c as soon as
possible. For The Sports Depot location, it will be cash bar

with big screen television viewing of the game. The Sports Depot is
conveniently located near the Green B line and the 66 bus route with free lot and on-street
parking.
RSVP REQUIRED:
We know there are lots of Cornell sports fans out there but due to the unique
weekday mid-day nature of this event, we know not everybody can stop and join
us. For an accurate count attending at each location, an RSVP is a must
given the unique nature and weekday time of this event to gauge the number of
attendees. RSVP by e-mail only to Tom Pasniewski '98 at thp1@cornell.edu.
Please do not contact the venue directly to RSVP. LET'S GO RED!
