Keeping Boston's Cornellians Connected
The primary mission of the Cornell Club of Boston is to promote in all respects the welfare of Cornell and to extend the influence of the University in the Greater Boston area. The Club provides a forum for the University to conduct its fund-raising efforts, recruit students, provide scholarships, and foster friendship and sociability of persons who have been connected with Cornell University. The Club shall also work with other Cornell Clubs in its region toward these same goals and purposes, and shall provide support to other local Cornell-affiliated groups and organizations. | | The Cornell Club of Boston is managed by its Officers and Board of Directors, each of home serves on a voluntary basis. The President, Vice President are elected by the active membership for two year terms. The Club Secretary and Treasurer are appointed by the President subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. Likewise, the Board of Directors is populated by volunteers who are presented to the Board by the Nominating Committee consisting of the President, Vice President and at least one other Board Member in good standing. The region served by the Cornell Club of Boston consists of more than 9,000 Cornell University alumni. The Club offers membership in multiple forms and levels ranging from affiliated members and members who are parents of students or alumni to Platinum Entrepreneur Plus members who represent the highest level of Donor or Sponsor members who are members of not only the Cornell Club of Boston at large, but are also members with full rights at the Cornell Club of Boston Downtown at the Harvard Club Downtown.
