The 8th Annual Cornell Cares Day

Join the Cornell Club of Boston for an opportunity to meet other alumni in the area, impact our community, and get to know current Cornell students. At the same time, alumni clubs throughout the country will also be doing other student/alumni service projects in what has become a national service day started here in Boston.

Greater Boston Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity

Location: Greater Boston Food Bank, 99 Atkinson Street, Boston, MA 02118

Description: The Food Bank is New England's largest hunger relief organization, serving as a nonprofit clearinghouse for food donated by the private sector to help those who are hungry. Volunteers will be inspecting, sorting and re-packing products that will then be distributed to member feeding programs.

Meet local alumni, impact our community, and help fight hunger in Boston.

Location: Church of St. John the Evangelist, 35 Bowdoin Street, Boston, MA (Beacon Hill near State House)

Description: Saturday's/Sunday's Bread is an all volunteer program that serves free hot meals to people in need in Boston every Saturday and Sunday at the Church of St. John the Evangelist. Volunteers will help prepare meals, plate food, serve tables, and clean up. Over the course of its 25 years, Saturday's/Sunday's Bread has served more than 300,000 guests.
